About Rugby Swimming Club Synchro
Synchronised Swimming is an Olympic sport which combines the grace of dance, flexibility and acrobatics of gymnastics and the strength and endurance of speed swimming. It requires a huge amount of dedication but also gives the swimmers great pleasure and life long skills such as team work and confidence. Rugby Synchro first started in 1972 where it was a demonstration sport. The club has grown massively since and now has 104 swimmers. If you are interested in joining our club, there are Free Taster Sessions throughout the year that anyone can attend. To see our upcoming Taster Sessions please see our Events page. We take 3 intakes of swimmers aged 11 and under during the year. If you are 12 and over, there will be a different pathway depending on your experience. Alternatively you can contact us by visiting the 'Contact Us' page.
Rugby Synchro is an umbrella club of RSC with Rugby Swimming Club Speed being the other umbrella. If you would like to know more about our umbrella club, please follow the link below.
